Guided Meditation: Resolving a Conflict - Healing a Wound
This first offering is useful if you have a conflict in your life…a situation that is ready to come to the Light, but has stubbornly persisted in staying in the shadows of your psyche. Through this meditation you invite Holy Spirit to help you see things differently to bring more love into your life. Our BLOG page focuses on ideas about relationships. You may want to read it before you listen to the Meditation.
It lasts about 15 minutes and contains silences as processing time.

Preparation
Before meditating we recommend that you sit or lie comfortably in a place where you will not be disturbed and prepare your body. The object of these & other preliminary exercises, which should take no more than 3 minutes, is to help you forget your body so you can devote your mind totally to Spirit.
Breathing Exercises
Breathing helps you relax and any technique will work. We prefer Edgar Casey’s where one breathes in through the nose slowly & deeply, then exhales through pursed lips slowly - 3 times. Then close off the right nostril breathing in through the left, exhale slowly from the left while the right is closed off - 3 times. Then reverse the nostrils closing off the left breathing slowly in from the right and exhaling from the left with the right closed off - 3 times. You may want to repeat the first nose-fully-open breathing again.
Neck Exercises
Additional relaxation can be obtained with neck exercises: slowly touch the right ear to the right shoulder (as nearly as you can) – 3 times; then do the same with the left – 3 times; then starting on the right roll your head to the shoulder, around so chin touches chest, then over to left shoulder, then back to the center. Do this 3 times slowly. Then reverse directions and do 3 times…or some variation of this.
3-D Imagination
As you go through the meditation we ask you to use 3-D imagination: picture yourself IN the scene rather than observing yourself on an imaginary screen as in a movie. Placing yourself as a participant in the action makes the experience more real and therefore more meaningful.
Allowing
Holy Spirit will work with you. Open your heart and mind, be receptive, ask for guidance - it will come. Spirit can talk to you from a rock or the back of a cereal box or a random radio program or a guided meditation. Your openness, a little willingness, to hear is all that is required.
I come to hear Your Voice in silence and in certainty and love,
sure You will hear my call and answer me.
